Getting started

A little idea. A real moving intro.

Open ClueCut to start in the chat. Type what you want to change in the native six-second intro and ClueCut edits it, with a live preview and MP4 export beside the conversation. Open the same project in the Creative studio for its full-size preview. The intro has editable typography, an animated masked light sweep, glow, temporal trails and original sound cues. Click the sound control before playback to hear the mix.

Use Thai or English to change the brand text, color, entry speed, or impact timing. The same versioned composition drives the live preview and MP4 export.

Choose Media editor for the separate timeline editor and the “Somewhere, slower” media-editing sample.

  • Try: เปลี่ยนเป็น CLUECUT STUDIO สีทอง
  • Try: ให้ตัวอักษรเข้าช้าลง 30% พร้อมเลื่อน Impact
  • Use Undo / Redo to compare a revision.
  • Download the editable composition to back up the native source.

Native motion studio

Editable motion, timed light and synchronized sound.

The Creative studio uses frame-based layers, bounded effect parameters and validated operations. The title has an authored entry, settle, readable hold and exit. Atmosphere, particles, type and the subtitle move independently.

The Impact sound is linked to the title-settle marker. A command to slow entry by 30% multiplies its duration by 1.3, rounds to the nearest frame and moves linked audio to the new settle time. Unrelated atmosphere and source assets are retained.

Export renders the current composition at 1920 × 1080 and 30fps with H.264 video and AAC audio. It runs locally and does not call a paid image/video provider.

Projects & project files

Keep your ideas close, and your progress saved.

The Creative studio saves its versioned native composition and undo/redo history in this browser. Use เก็บไฟล์แก้ไข to download the source JSON and เปิดโปรเจกต์ to restore it in the studio.

The separate Media editor has its own projects. Click its project name to rename it, use Projects to switch stories, and open Export to download an editable media project.

Native intro files and media-editor project files have different schemas. Open each in the editor it came from.

Importing media

Bring your own moments into the workspace.

Choose Upload media in the Media panel and select images, video, or audio from your device. You can import multiple files at once. Files must be smaller than 100 MB each.

Search by name or filter your library by Videos and Images. Click an image or video to add it to the end of the timeline, or drag it onto the timeline.

Timeline & layers

A familiar place to shape your story.

The timeline has footage, title, and soundtrack layers. Click the ruler to move the playhead. Click a clip to select it and preview that moment.

Drag a clip to change its start time. Double-click a clip to open its timing properties. Use the toolbar to split at the playhead, duplicate a selected clip, or remove a selection.

  • Place the playhead inside a clip before splitting.
  • Use the zoom control to inspect timing more closely.
  • Undo and Redo help you explore changes without losing your way.

Titles & motion

Find the words. Give them a little movement.

Open Text to edit the title and supporting text. Adjust the title size and color, then choose a gentle fade, a rise animation, or a still title.

Select the title tool above the preview to show the canvas handles. Drag the selection to place the title. Open Properties for exact X and Y positions.

  • Use the eye control on the title track to show or hide text.
  • Choose Center title in Properties to restore the default position.
  • Preview from the beginning to see the title animation.

Canvas & formats

Find the right frame for your idea.

Use the format selector above the preview or open Layouts to switch between landscape, portrait, and square.

The same project is used for all formats. Check the title position and crop after changing the canvas.

  • Landscape: 16:9 at 1920 × 1080.
  • Portrait: 9:16 at 1080 × 1920.
  • Square: 1:1 at 1080 × 1080.

ClueCut assistant

A new direction can start with a sentence.

The current ClueCut assistant uses local editing rules. It understands common commands in English and Thai and applies the changes directly to your project.

Try a command below, then refine the result on the timeline. If a request is unsupported, ClueCut explains what it can do. Use Undo to reverse the most recent change.

  • Make it cinematic and add a gentle fade
  • Change the title to “Your next story”
  • Make the title smaller
  • เปลี่ยนเป็นแนวตั้งและขาวดำ

Audio & color

Small adjustments. A different feeling.

The Audio panel includes “Drift, a little”, an original ambient soundtrack. Turn it on or off and adjust its volume. The track fades in and out automatically.

Open Effects to choose Original, Warm afternoon, On film, or In black & white. The grade applies across the project.

Exporting your video

Ready for the final frame.

Choose Export in the workspace and select 1080p or 720p, then Export video to download an MP4. The local server renders with Remotion and FFmpeg.

Keep the workspace open while the export finishes. The first render needs local Chrome, Edge, or a Remotion rendering browser.

  • Local MP4 export supports included media and videos up to two minutes.
  • Session imports cannot currently be read by the server renderer.
  • Download editable project creates a JSON backup instead of an MP4.

Keyboard shortcuts

A little less clicking. More room to create.

Use these shortcuts while focused on the workspace. Text inputs keep normal typing behavior.

Storage & privacy

Your work, on your device.

Project settings are saved in this browser’s local storage. Clearing site data or switching browsers makes those saved projects unavailable. Download a project file to keep a backup.

Imported media uses local object URLs during the session. It is not uploaded to cloud storage. MP4 rendering runs on the local ClueCut server using the bundled media.

Accounts, billing, Cloudflare R2, PostgreSQL, Redis jobs, and connected AI providers are not enabled in the current prototype.
